Dear Members, Players, and Families, Firstly, it gives me great honour to serve as the club President for this 2025/26 season. I am very passionate about this club as in my time living in Ballan, I am so impressed with what a town of around 3000 and a volunteer base of 20 have created. And let’s not forget the athletes we have. Of the 15-19 teams we have between winter and summer seasons, the results are fantastic with nearly 50% of the teams making it through the regular season and making finals year on year. What an achievement by every boy, girl, man and woman who put on the Ballan uniform and plays. There is a proactive, hardworking group of people who are the club’s committee and as we as a club turn 10 years, we are thrilled to announce some exciting developments for the Ballan Basketball Club as we head into the new season! Firstly, we are proud to present our new logo, look and feel. Keeping with the Brumbies spirit, the design a bold and striking. A new modern look to launch our 10 years as a club but wait…. There is more. |

Secondly, we are proud to announce that Community Bank Ballan & District have come on board as the major sponsor of the club for the coming 2 seasons. We are grateful that we’ve been able to get local businesses back involved with the club after years of working without outside sponsorship. Thanks to the generous support from our new sponsor, we are proud to unveil a fresh, modern uniform design that reflects the growth and future of our club. The revitalised look for our teams is a bold, modern update that honours our proud identity while injecting fresh energy into the club, both on and off the court. |

In line with this exciting change, the committee and I have made the decision to remove the burden of uniform purchase from parents. All current Brumbies will be provided with a brand-new uniform, supplied by the club at no cost. As part of a new uniform policy, set to be released in the coming months, all singlets will be club-owned and loaned to players for the duration of their time with the club. If you're a new player joining the club or a returning player from another club, you will be required to purchase a complete uniform package. Our plan is to have our new uniforms roll out in time for upcoming summer season, and further details regarding distribution and sizing will be shared shortly along with the ITP for the coming summer season. If you want to make sure you get the right size and number then please get your orders in as quickly as you can as the cut off deadline for the orders will be short to keep in line with the roll out. We believe this change will not only boost club spirit but also strengthen the presence of Ballan Basketball Club within the broader community. We want the athletes and parents to be proud of the brand of this club and hope we see the merchandise, when released, around town. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our players, families, and volunteers, and we're confident this change marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our club.
