Welcome to your weekly update on all things Ballan Brumbies Basketball Club.
FROM THE PRESIDENT.
Welcome to another edition of Hoop Prints and Hoops – your weekly wrap-up of all things Ballan Basketball!
Welcome back to another school term and the second half of the Winter 2025 season!
I hope all families who took the opportunity to escape the cold over the break had a safe and enjoyable holiday.
With most teams returning to the court this weekend, we’re excited to see everyone back in action. The senior teams have been playing through the break, but for allour Junior’s, good luck to all teams gearing up for their return matches!
Unfortunately, due to low numbers, we’ve had to cancel the First Aid course. While this is disappointing, we remain committed to offering valuable programs for our volunteers, coaches, and community. These opportunities only work with enough interest, so we’ll look to try again in the future.
You’ll also find information below about upcoming tryouts and clinics happening in our area.
These “Rep” tryouts are fantastic opportunities for athletes to test their skills and potentially earn a spot as a “Rep Player.” As I always say to athletes…. “You’ll never know if you DON’T go!” For those new to Rep, you are required to play domestic aswell as Rep, so you willstill remain a Brumby at the same time.
Lastly, a reminder that our AGM is this Monday at the Commercial Hotel from 6:30. We’ll be reflecting on the past 12 months and looking ahead to what’s next. Everyone is welcome.
As always…
