AUSSIE HOOPS LEAD COACHING POSITION.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable basketball coach to join our Aussie Hoops program working with kids aged 5–8 years old.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and enjoys helping young athletes build confidence, skills, and a love for sport in a fun and supportive environment.

About the Role

* Deliver fun and engaging basketball sessions for beginner players

* Teach basic basketball skills through games and activities

* Create a positive and inclusive environment for young children

* Encourage teamwork, participation, and sportsmanship

* Lead a team of 2-3 junior coaches who are there to assist in drills

What We’re Looking For

* Prior coaching or teaching experience preferred

* Experience in any sport working with children aged 5–8 is highly regarded

* Energetic, patient, and positive attitude

* Strong communication skills

* Basketball experience is a bonus but not essential

* Valid Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain one)

What We Offer

* 1 training session per week on Mondays from 5:15pm – 6:00pm

* Coaching location based at Ballan Primary

* Supportive and friendly club environment

* Coaching certifications and clinics where applicable
